David A. Hochberg, M.D.
Dr. David
Hochberg is a board-certified diplomat of the American
Board of Urology. He is Chief of Urology at Tampa’s
premier medical center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and
is a Clinical Assistant professor of Urogynecology at the
University of South Florida School of Medicine, for the
treatment of female incontinence. He is one of Tampa’s
most experienced robotic surgeons using the da
Vinci Surgical System for the treatment of prostate
cancer, and has served as a proctor for urologists learning
this procedure. Other areas of interest include
minimally invasive laser treatment for enlarged prostate
(Greenlight,
Prolieve, Holmium, Indigo),
medical and surgical treatment of urinary stones, vasectomy
and vasectomy-reversal.
Dr. Hochberg received a B.A. from
Tulane University and his medical degree (M.D.) from
the University of Miami School of Medicine. His graduate
medical training was at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York
City, including additional clinical and research clerkships
at Cornell-New York Hospital and Toronto’s Hospital For
Sick Children.

Timothy A. Weber, M.D.
Dr. Timothy Weber is the most recent addition to Hochberg Urology, joining in 2010. Following graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served for five years active duty service in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Ranger-qualified Infantry officer. A Gainesville native, he returned home to Florida to pursue his medical degree at the University of South Florida. He remained in Tampa for his surgical internship and urologic surgical training under mentorship of program chairman, Dr. Jorge Lockhart and Chief of Genitourinary Oncology, Dr. Julio Pow-Sang at Moffitt Cancer Hospital. Dr. Weber is interested in treating all types of urologic problems, and has a particular interest in conditions such as erectile dysfunction, voiding dysfunction and incontinence, as well as robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.

Cashawna Sclossnagle, ARNP
Cashawna Sclossnagle has been a proud member of Hochberg Urology since 2007. She is a Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Florida State University and The University of South Florida, respectively. She has 8 years experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care and has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in Urology since 2007. She has served as a nurse educator at St. Joseph’s Hospital in urology nursing. She is a member of The Society of Urologic Nurses Association and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Bernard M. Hochberg, M.D.
Dr. Bernard Hochberg is the founding member of our practice. A board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Urology and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has long been one of Tampa’s most trusted and experienced urologists. He remains as a consultant and mentor to the practice, though he is now officially retired from the practice of medicine.
